Ask a facilities team what biophilic design means and most will point at a wall of succulents. That's decoration. Real biophilic design starts with daylight modelling and never gets near a plant catalogue until the last stage.
Daylight first
Before any material is chosen, we model sun paths across the floor plate for every season. Desks get oriented to daylight, not to a rack of cable trunking.
Material honesty
Timber left unlacquered, stone left unpolished, concrete left as poured — the goal is a palette that ages the way a forest floor does, not one that fights to stay pristine.
